Price — in AUD

$990 one-time

Typical range $790–$1,490 depending on pages and content readiness.

Not currently registered for GST — no GST charged.

Instalments available: 2 × $495.

Care plan (optional)

$240/year — covers domain renewal, SSL renewal, and up to 4 text edits per year. No invoices, no hassle.

Skip it and the site still works — you'd just manage your own domain renewal and updates. Domain cost varies (see FAQ).

.com.au domain registration is passed through at cost. Standard names typically run $20–30/year from most Australian registrars, though the exact price depends on the provider you choose. Premium, short, or already-registered names can run from $100 to several hundred per year — or require a one-off purchase. ABN required for .com.au.

Cost over 5 years — the honest comparison

Squarespace (Personal) ~$1,980
Wix (Core) ~$1,860
MyBusiness.online + domain × 5 ~$1,115

Comparison assumes a standard .com.au domain (~$25/year). Premium or auction-purchased domains add to the total. Break-even in under 3 years on a standard domain.

What SA business owners say

A few words from businesses we've built for across Adelaide and regional SA.

★★★★★

I had a Squarespace site for three years. When I added up what I'd spent, I nearly fell over. This was built in a week and it's mine.

Daniel R.
Electrician · Salisbury
★★★★★

I run a small psychology practice and needed something clean and professional — not a template that looked like every other therapist's site. This fit perfectly.

Dr. Sarah M.
Psychologist · Unley
★★★★★

Our cellar door bookings have gone up noticeably since the new site went live. It loads fast, and it tells our family story properly.

Why South Australian businesses choose this

Built by someone who understands the SA market — from the Adelaide CBD to the Riverland, the Yorke Peninsula to the South East.

Fast & responsive

Built as lightweight static pages, so they load quickly and respond smoothly on a standard NBN connection or a 4G mobile signal — even in parts of regional SA where the network is patchy.

No monthly fee

You pay once for the build, then only your domain renewal each year (typically $20–30, more for premium names). No Squarespace or Wix subscription.

You own everything

Domain in your name (with your ABN), files handed over after final payment. No lock-in.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from SA business owners before they get started.

You send us your raw materials — services, hours, phone number, a few photos, and a rough idea of what you do. We tidy it into professional copy and a clean layout. If you'd prefer to write it yourself, that's fine too — we'll place it as-is.
It depends entirely on the name you choose. A standard .com.au name (like smithplumbingadelaide.com.au) typically runs $20–30/year from most Australian registrars — the exact price depends on the provider you choose, and renewal prices usually sit between $23 and $33.

Short, memorable, or industry-specific names — and names that are already registered and being resold — can run from $100 to several hundred per year, or thousands as a one-off purchase.

We'll check availability for the names you like and tell you the real cost before you commit to anything. If you already own a domain, we simply connect it — no extra charge.
Yes — and it's worth doing. A business email like hello@yourbusiness.com.au builds far more trust with SA customers than a personal Gmail address.

We offer professional email setup as an optional add-on. We handle the technical side (connecting your domain to an email provider like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365) and you just log in and use it. There's a small monthly fee from the email provider — usually $10–15/month per mailbox. Ask us for a quote.
The site is built as lightweight static pages (just HTML, CSS, and a few images), served from a global content delivery network with edge nodes in Sydney and Melbourne. On a standard NBN landline connection, pages typically load in well under a second. On a normal 4G or 5G mobile connection — the kind most SA customers use — pages typically load in 1–2 seconds.

We don't promise "instant" load times, because real-world network conditions vary. But the sites are noticeably faster than typical WordPress or Squarespace sites, which carry extra weight and slow down on weaker connections.
No — we're not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged on any invoice. If we ever cross the ATO threshold ($75,000 turnover per year), we'll register and update pricing accordingly. Existing clients will be notified well in advance.
Nothing breaks. The site keeps working. You'd just renew the domain yourself and email us if you ever need a text edit — we bill those at a simple hourly rate. The care plan is convenience, not a lock-in.
Two rounds of revisions are included during the build. After launch, the care plan covers up to 4 minor text edits per year. Additional edits are billed at a flat rate — usually $40–60 for a small change.
Yes. Standard is 50% deposit to start and 50% on launch. If you'd prefer two equal instalments of $495 spaced across the build, we can arrange that too — just mention it when you get in touch.
Yes — hosting is included free, forever. The site is served from a global CDN, and the SSL certificate renews automatically. There's no separate hosting bill. If you ever want to move the site elsewhere, we hand over all the files and you can host it yourself. Note that the domain name is billed separately by the registrar — hosting is what's free.
Additional pages are $150 each, added whenever you need them. Most businesses start with 5 and add one or two over the first year as they grow.
Yes — we'll send you 3 or 4 live examples that match your industry when you get in touch. Most are SA trade, retail, or practice sites similar to what we'd build for you.

Who you're working with

MyBusiness.online is a studio based in South Australia. We've been building websites for South Australian small businesses since 2000 — mostly tradies, retail shops, and small practices that got tired of paying $40/month to Squarespace for a site they didn't own.

No agency markup. No account managers. You talk to the person building your site, from first call to launch. If something breaks at 9pm, you can text me directly.

— David, founder · Adelaide, SA

Ownership (in writing)

  • Domain: registered in your name (with your ABN for .com.au). You own it outright — including any premium name you've chosen.
  • Website files: yours after final payment.
  • Google Business Profile: you own the listing; we only help you add the new URL.

50% deposit to start, 50% on launch. No GST charged — we're below the ATO threshold. Extra edits after the two included rounds are billed separately.
